Funerals - Guiding Gentle, Graceful Goodbyes

I meet with the family to listen and understand the essence of the person who has died, and then take all you have shared about the deceased, and weave it into a seamless tribute that will truthfully honour and reflect the life of your loved one. 

It will be joyfully accurate and honest. Together we will shape a ceremony that remembers them in all their complexity. There will probably be tears but they will blend with smiles and sometimes even laughter as we warmly recount their life through memory and stories.

I will help to guide the family with options around the music, the eulogy, poetry, readings, mementos, slide shows, tributes and family/friends involvement.

• Music, readings, poems and a eulogy.
• A space for tributes and reflections.
• Committal moments (curtain closing or coffin lowering).
• Closing thoughts and reflections to honour the life lived.

With experience as a psychotherapist, I am well-equipped to hold space for emotion, creating a safe and compassionate environment to mourn, celebrate, and reflect.
